Abstract
The Parties in accordance with their national legislation and within their competence will cooperate in the following areas: (a) exchange of information, periodicals, methodical, scientific and technical literature, the results of scientific research, video and photographic materials; (b) planning, developing and conducting joint workshops, seminars, conferences, training courses, workshops, exercises, research projects and other events; (c) organization of training of specialists in educational institutions of the Parties, exchange of trainees, teachers, scientists, specialists and other representatives; (d) development and implementation of joint technical, social and humanitarian cooperation; (e) providing, when necessary, joint assistance to third countries in liquidation of consequences of emergency situations of natural and man-made disasters; and (f) cooperation in the field of overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and Spitak earthquake.

This Agreement entered into force on 2 September 2011.
Notes
This Agreement is valid for five years and shall be automatically extended for subsequent five-year periods, unless one of the Parties sends the other Party written notice of its intention to terminate it no later than three months before the date of its expiry.
