Agreement between the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and the Chief Directorate for Emergency Situations of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey on cooperation in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations.

The Parties in accordance with national legislation and within competencies will cooperate in the following areas: (a) exchange of information, periodicals, methodical, scientific-technical literature, the results of scientific research, video and photographic materials; (b) planning, developing and conducting joint workshops, seminars, conferences, training courses, trainings, exercises, research projects, sports and other events; (c) organization of training of specialists in educational institutions of the Parties, exchange of trainees, teachers, scientists, specialists and other representatives; (d) development of cooperation in the areas of youth, volunteer, sports and other social activities related to the competence of the Parties; (e) development of proposals for improving legislation on issues related to the competence of the Parties; (f) preparation and implementation of joint projects of technical, social and humanitarian cooperation; (g) mutual assistance or joint assistance with the third countries in the aftermath of emergency situations of natural and man-made character; (h) cooperation in the field of overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP catastrophe; and (i) implementation of other activities falling within the competence of the Parties.
