Agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Lithuania on cooperation in the field of health protection.

The Parties shall develop and implement cooperation in the field of health protection and healthcare based on principles of mutual benefit and mutual assistance, in accordance with the legislation and international obligations, acting on the territories of the Parties. The Parties intend to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the following areas: (a) medical care; (b) training and professional development of medical personnel; (c) promotion of investment projects in the field of health protection; (d) exchange of information in the field of health protection, including on programs immunization, fighting pandemics; and (e) development of fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of medicine. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) mutual consultations; (b) exchange of specialists and information; and (c) organization of symposia and conferences.
