Abstract
The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: (a) environmental impact assessment (EIA); (b) environmental audit; (c) environmental standards, metrology and certification; (d) environmental monitoring; (e) waste management and environmental protection in the process of transboundary movement of hazardous waste; and (e) ecological education. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) joint programmes and projects; (b) conferences and seminars; (c) joint publications; (d) exchange of normative documentation and legislative acts related to nature management and environmental protection; (e) research; and (f) creation of joint working groups.

Entry into force notes
This Agreement enters into force upon exchange of the instruments of ratification.
Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for five years and shall be automatically renewed for one or more five-year periods unless, six months prior to the end of any such period, either Party terminates the Agreement by written notice to the other.
