Decree of Cabinet of Ministers No. 350 on Measures to ensure compliance with the Republic of Belarus obligations under the Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

In order to ensure the fulfillment by the Republic of Belarus of the obligations arising from the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus decides: (a) to designate the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection as the Administrative Authority for the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora in the Republic of Belarus; (b) to designate the Academy of Sciences of Belarus as the Scientific Authority for the Convention in the Republic of Belarus; and (c) to establish that the export from the territory of the Republic of Belarus of species of animals and plants, their parts or derivatives thereof, falling under the Convention, is authorized with the permission of the Administrative Authority for the Convention in the Republic of Belarus. The import into the territory of the Republic of Belarus of species of animals and plants, their parts or derivatives thereof, falling under the Convention, is authorized with the permission of the Administrative Authority under the Convention or another competent authority of the exporting country, and in certain cases provided for by the Convention, also with the permission of the Administrative Authority under the Convention in the Republic of Belarus.
