Decree No. 1084 of the Council of Ministers validating National Energy Security Strategy.

This Decree validates National Energy Security Strategy and sustainability of energy supply to industry and population. Energy security shall be considered state of protection of citizens, society and economy against the risks of deficiency of energy by means of supply of available energy resources of acceptable quality and protection against risk of break in continuity of energy supply. National energy autonomy shall be considered the state of the country related to provision with energy resources. National interest shall be to ensure non-discriminatory access to energy resources and fuel and energy supply-demand balance, and introduction of advanced technologies in the national energy supply system.
