Decree No. 12 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection validating places and terms and conditions for commercial fisheries of common eel (Anguilla anguilla L.) in disregard of commercial measure in fishing areas for the period of 2017.

The Minister Decrees that commercial fisheries of common eel (Anguilla anguilla L.) in disregard of commercial measure in fishing areas for the period of 2017 shall be authorized from 1 April to 30 May in the province of Minsk and from 10 April to 8 June in the province of Vitebsk by stationary traps (in waterbodies and places in Accordance with the Annex 1) and by mobile traps with mesh no less than 16 mm in defined areas of water of waterbodies within a radius of no n more than 250 meters from confluence, riverhead or junction with other waterbodies (listed in Annex 2) and in the rivers (listed in the Annex 3).
