Abstract
This Decree establishes Sanitary rules and regulations “Requirements for ensuring radiation safety of staff and the population in the process of operation of nuclear energy plants and management of sources of ionizing radiation”. It envisages mandatory application of radiation level control with a view of access to information on exposure to radiation of staff so as to protect human health. Each manager of radiation sources shall be issued sanitary certificate valid for the period of 3 years. Outcome of periodic radiation level control shall be used for assessment of radiation situation.
