Decree No. 14 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on the issuance of fishing authorization for research, fish farming, acclimatization, stock enhancement purposes and the modalities of carrying out acclimatization and stock enhancement of fishes and aquatic invertebrates.

Acclimatization and stock enhancement shall be carried out by legal and natural persons concerned in accordance with biological substantiation elaborated in accordance with the Annex 1. Transportation of species destined for acclimatization and stock enhancement shall be carried out with strict observation of the requirements established by state veterinary service with accompanying veterinary certificates. Release of stock to fishing waterbodies shall be carried out in the presence of fishing inspectors and lessee (if the waterbody is given on lease) and shall be legalized in accordance with the form contained in the Annex 2. Release of stock for acclimatization and stock enhancement purposes to the waterbodies with endemic and epibiotic fauna shall be prohibited. Fisheries and catch of aquatic invertebrates for research, fish farming, acclimatization and stock enhancement purposes shall be carried out in accordance with fishing permits issued by Fishing Inspection in accordance with the Annex 1. The application must contain the following documentation: (a) scientific research plan (fisheries for research purposes); (b) ichthyologic plan (fisheries for ichthyologic purposes); (c) stock enhancement plan (fisheries for stock enhancement purposes); and (d) stock enhancement and biological substantiation (fisheries for fish farming and acclimatization purposes).
