Decree No. 16 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food validating Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on breeding of pigeons.

This Decree establishes mandatory requirements for captive breeding of pigeons, including veterinary and sanitary requirements for pigeon nurseries. In particular it establishes the location of pigeon nurseries, keeping rules and terms, quarantine and disinfection proceedings, feeding modalities and health requirements. Storage of veterinary preparations in pigeon nurseries shall be prohibited, dead pigeons shall be removed in accordance with technical requirements set for destruction of animal carcasses.
