Decree No. 168 of the Ministry of Public Health validating Sanitary rules and regulations “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for sanatorium-resort and recreational organizations”.

This Decree validates “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for sanatorium-resort and recreational organizations” setting forth the requirements water supply, effluent waste water discharge and microclimate. Location of sanatorium-resort facilities, causing impact upon human health and environment, on the territory of sanitary protection areas shall be prohibited. Special recreational areas shall be envisaged on the territory of sanatorium-resort facilities. Recreational waterbodies and water facilities shall be kept in compliance with sanitary rules, regulations, and safety requirements.
