Abstract
These Sanitary Rules and Regulations establish requirements for territory, water supply, sewerage, lighting, microclimate, production and auxiliary areas and facilities, personal hygiene of staff performing production of canned fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, vegetables, potatoes, pickled cabbage and pickled vegetables. These Sanitary Rules and Regulations shall be compulsory for all state bodies, organizations, natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs. The territory of organizations producing canned fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, vegetables, potatoes, pickled cabbage and pickled vegetables shall be kept clean all the year round and fenced off . Water supply shall be performed from centralized network of industrial and potable water supply system. Water supply shall be stable and constant, and water must comply with potable water quality standards. Equipment, packages and packaging materials must be manufactured from materials and substances authorized for use and contact with food and alimentary raw materials. Utilization at production facilities of appliances and devices containing quicksilver, and also use of glass and glass containing equipment shall be prohibited. Storage of packages and packaging materials must prevent contamination thereof. Production technology must ensure output of high quality and safe products. Alimentary and non-alimentary raw materials shall be kept and stored separately.
