Abstract
This Decree establishes the modalities and criteria of selection of samples for laboratory testing for the presence of prohibited substances and excess of maximum allowable residue limits of veterinary drugs and chemical substances in live animals and animal products. It also specifies the modalities of selection, packaging, storage, transportation and sample rates of the product of animal origin and biological material from live animals for laboratory testing. Prohibited substances shall be classified in two categories: (a) anabolic drugs; and (b) chemical pollutants.
