Abstract
This Decree shall be applicable to poultry processing enterprises and organizations and also to subsidiary smallholding of the citizens. Preliminary diagnosis of avian flu shall be established on the basis of epizootic data typical of clinical symptoms of the disease and pathologicoanatomic alterations typical of the disease. Early warning and timely application of the arrangements for ending infection and liquidation of the outbreak of disease shall be the basis for successful combating disease. The following arrangements shall be mandatory in case of suspected avian flu outbreak: (a) stopping trade of poultry and poultry products; (b) prohibition of access of the unauthorized persons to enterprise; (c) prohibition of access to adverse poultry farms by staff except of strictly required personnel; (d) restrict movement of personnel on the territory of poultry farm; (e) restrict the possibility of expansion of pests outside poultry farm; (f) organize bloodless slaughtering of ill or infected poultry; and (g) organize disinfection of poultry farms.
