Abstract
This Decree validates mandatory Sanitary rules and regulations “Requirements for organization and application of sanitary and antiepidemic arrangements for prophylaxis of diseases transmitted by ixodic tick”. Antiepidemic arrangements must include: (a) prevention of ixodic tick attacks on human beings; (b) impact on infection reservoirs (small mammals); and (c) prophylaxis of spreading of disease after bite by disease transmitting agent. The main disease carriers on the national territory are the following insect species: (a) Ixodes ricinus L.; and (b) Dermacentor reticulatus Herm. Disinsection and deratization treatment by authorized formulations for treatment with a view of extermination of ixodic tick and rodents shall be regularly performed by the competent sanitary bodies in accordance with contracts.
