Abstract
This Decree shall be applicable to poultry processing enterprises and organizations and also to subsidiary smallholding of the citizens. Biological waste shall be considered poultry carcasses and poultry products, including non-edible ones. After making the diagnosis of avian flu local executive bodies and local self-government shall organize bloodless slaughtering of poultry, with the subsequent recycling thereof, in epizootic hotbed. Carbon dioxide or chloroform shall be used for poultry slaughtering at subsidiary smallholding of private citizens. Main methods of destruction of poultry carcasses shall be burial, burning and composting, and also recycling at special recycling works.
