Decree No. 20 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food validating the Regulation on selection of samples of seeds of crops and testing thereof.

This Decree establishes the modalities of on selection of samples pf seeds of crops and testing thereof by the Chief inspection on sed growing, quarantine and plant protection. Seed sample shall be considered optimal lot of seeds selected out of a lot of seeds destined for testing at the request of an applicant. The scope of testing shall be identification of possible presence of pests, diseases and weeds in lot of seeds of crops. Selected sample of seeds shall be packeged and sealed so as to ensure seed conservation and exclude access to seeds without damaging package and seal. Each sample of seeds shall be labelled.
