Abstract
This Decree determines the modalities of disinfection for the prevention of carrying of avian flu infection and in case of the outbreak of avian flu. It shall be mandatory for all poultry processing organizations and also for subsidiary smallholding of citizens. The scope of disinfection shall be to break in epizootic circuit through impact upon disease transmission factors. Disinfection shall be carried out in accordance with plan validated by the competent body with the use of drugs, preparations and other means registered in the Republic of Belarus and authorized for application on the national territory. Disinfection shall be classified as preventive (irrigation method applicable to automotive vehicles and packages), forced (applicable by veterinary specialists to premises, facilities, production sites and equipment) and conclusive (applicable after liquidation of the disease and lifting of quarantine).
