Abstract
This Decree lays down basic provisions related to prophylaxis and liquidation of prophylaxis and liquidation of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and it shall be mandatory for all legal and natural persons. Diagnosis of infectious Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) shall be established in accordance with clinical evidence, pathologicoanatomic changes, epizootological data and the results of laboratory testing. Purchase of swine shall be carried out at the farms that are free from Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS). In order to prevent propagation of the disease swine shall be subject to testing for Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS). Imported swine shall be put in quarantine for 30 days.
