Decree No. 23/230 of the Ministry of Forestry “On some issues of obtaining hunting firearms and ammunition for temporary use”.

This Decree validates the Regulation on the procedure for obtaining by citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons of hunting firearms and ammunition for temporary use for the period of hunting from the manager of hunting grounds. It shall be applicable to citizens of the Republic of Belarus who have reached the age of eighteen, to legally capable foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing on the territory of the Republic of Belarus with official residence permit, in possession of state hunting permit and record card of violation of hunting rules and regulations, which is integral part of state hunting permit, and foreign citizens in possessions of the document attesting the right of hunting in their permanent state of residence. Manager of hunting grounds shall have the right to transfer to the aforesaid categories of citizens for temporary use firearms owned thereby and registered in accordance with the establishes procedure in the law enforcement agencies.
