Abstract
This Decree establishes requirements for installation, equipment, maintenance and operation of utility and potable water supply. The scope of this Decree shall be protection of public health, conservation and improvement of water quality and consumer protection. Infringement of sanitary regulation shall entail liability in accordance with the national legislation. Owners of utility and potable water supply systems shall inform state sanitary inspection of polluted freshwater sources and non-compliance of freshwater quality with the established standards. Centralized utility and potable water supply systems shall ensure stable and continuous water supply to consumers. Use of water from utility and potable water supply systems for technical needs shall be authorized in exceptional cases by agreement with local executive bodies, environmental protection institutions and state sanitary inspection.
