Decree No. 32 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection validating Instruction on monitoring of wild fauna.

This Decree establishes the modalities of carrying out monitoring of wild fauna, the list of species subject to monitoring, parameters and periodicity of monitoring. Monitoring of wild fauna shall address the following issues: (a) wild animals subject to hunting and their natural habitats; (b) wild aquatic animals and their natural habitats; (c) protected animals recorded in the Red Book and their natural habitats; and (d) wild animals regulated by international agreements. Monitoring of wild fauna shall be carried out non less than once in a year and also periodically all the year round depending upon monitoring method. The Decree contains the list of wild fauna species subject to monitoring.
