Decree No. 37 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on submittal of information to database on genetic engineering organisms.

This Decree establishes that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection within its sphere of competence must submit to database on genetic engineering organisms the following information: (a) officials of the Ministry responsible for biosecurity (Annex 1); (b) normative legislative acts on biosecurity (Annex 2); (c) risk assessment of possible negative impact of non-pathogenic GMO on environment (Annex 3); (d) issued permits for release GMO to environment for testing (Annex 4); and (e) notification of the Ministry by transporter of non-pathogenic GMO in case of transit on the national territory (Annex 5).
