Decree No. 39 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on groundwater monitoring.

This Decree sets forth the procedure for the performance of groundwater monitoring and establishes the number of groundwater monitoring points, technology of performance of groundwater monitoring, the list of parameters and periodicity of observations. The scope of groundwater monitoring shall be to examine hydrogeological, hydrochemical and other indices of state of groundwater, identification of negative processes, assessment and forecast of modification thereof, prevention of negative consequences and determination of efficient arrangements for rational management and protection of groundwater.
