Abstract
These Sanitary Rules and Regulations establish requirements for alimentary raw materials, ingredients, chemical composition, labelling, territory, water supply, sewerage, lighting, microclimate, production and auxiliary areas and facilities, personal hygiene of staff performing infant food production. They shall not be applicable to non-industrial production of infant food, and storage and transportation thereof. Infant food shall be classified into three categories: (a) from birth to 3 years of age; (b) from 3 to 6 years of age; and (c) from 6 to 18 years of age. These Sanitary Rules and Regulations shall be compulsory for all state bodies, organizations, natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs. The territory of fish processing enterprise shall be kept clean all the year round and fenced off so as to prevent entry of unauthorized persons and stray animals. The territory of diary enterprise shall be kept clean all the year round. Water supply shall be performed from centralized network of industrial and potable water supply system. Water supply shall be stable and constant, and water must comply with potable water quality standards. Use of raw material with expired date, GMO and spices for production of infant food shall be prohibited. Packaging of infant food must guarantee quality and safety thereof and prefect conservation of the products. Raw materials for infant food must be stored under conditions preventing contamination and deterioration thereof.
