Abstract
This Decree sets forth the modalities of mandatory registration of veterinary drugs destined for application on the national territory. Biological and pharmacological preparations, including “in bulk”, disinfecting and antiseptic preparations, animal feedstuffs, except for those destined for productivity of animals, shall be subject to registration. Only registered veterinary drugs shall be authorized for application on the national territory. Veterinary pharmacological drugs shall be classified in 8 groups. Applicant shall submit for registration of veterinary drugs the following documentation: (a) application; (b) information on prototype drugs; and (c) report on experimental study of veterinary drug.
