Abstract
Regulation on quarantine phytosanitary expertise of plant species subject to quarantine inspection establishes the modalities of final identification of pests, diseases and weeds in plant species, seeds, planting material, either of national or of foreign origin, subject to quarantine inspection. Quarantine phytosanitary inspection shall include laboratory entomological, phytopathological, bacteriological, virological and helminthological testing with a view of identification of weeds. Regulation on disinfection of plant species subject to quarantine inspection establishes the modalities of disinfection and disinfestation of plant species subject to quarantine inspection. The grounds for application of disinfection and disinfestation shall be identification of the presence of pests, diseases and weeds in plant species subject to quarantine inspection.
