Decree No. 5 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on places and conditions of commercial fisheries of the eel without compliance with commercial fish size the fishing areas in 2018.

The Minister decrees to establish that commercial fisheries of the eel without compliance with commercial fish size the fishing areas in the period from April 1 to May 30, 2018 in the Minsk region and from April 10 to June 8, 2018 in Vitebsk region shall be authorized with the use of the following fishing gear and by the following fishing methods: (a) stationary traps in watercourses according to the list according to Appendix 1; (b) portable traps with a mesh of not less than 16 millimeters: in the water area of waterbodies within a radius of no more than 250 meters from the confluence, source watercourses or connections with other waterbodies according to the list contained in the Annex 2; and (c) in the watercourses according to the list contained in the Annex 3.
