Decree No. 64 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food validating the Regulation on application of mineral fertilizers in ponds of fishfarming organizations.

This Decree sets forth the procedure for application of mineral fertilizers in ponds of fishfarming organizations with a view of provision with nutrients (nitro and phosphorus) of weeds, extension of feeding ground and natural productivity, improvement of oxygen regime of ponds, reduction of water pollution by radionuclides and creation of favorable condition for vital activity of freshwater fishes. Prior to application of fertilizers shall be performed a set of drainage and land reclamation arrangements with a view of neutralization of excessive acidity of soil acidity caused by lime application.
