Abstract
This Decree establishes veterinary and sanitary rules and regulations for the prevention and liquidation of enzootic leucosis of cattle. It specifies that animal welfare in relation to enzootic leucosis shall be reached by prevention of infection spreading by means of diagnostic testing of cattle. Recovery of herd with adverse enzootic leucosis situation shall be performed by systematic serological testing and submittal of responsive cattle for slaughtering. Prophylaxis of enzootic leucosis of cattle through laboratory testing and veterinary and sanitary inspection of carcasses and interiors of cattle after slaughtering.
