Abstract
This Decree establishes basic provisions for prophylaxis and liquidation of cattle chlamidiosis on the national territory. It specifies that veterinary in service working for an organization or in service in residential area in case of suspected chlamidiosis case shall undertake immediate measure to establish diagnosis. Legal persons shall be prohibited import and export of cattle, sperm and embryos from agricultural enterprises and farms with suspected outbreak of cattle chlamidiosis without prior authorization of veterinary body. The following arrangements shall be carried out in case cattle chlamidiosis: (a) in case of slaughtering cattle shall be slaughtered at sanitary abattoir; (b) cattle shall be marked before transport to slaughtering and meat processing plant; (c) diseased offal shall be recycled, carcass shall be kept in refrigerating chamber until the conclusion of laboratory research; and (d) in case of dieoff carcasses shall be transported to animal burial site or a biothermal disinfection facility (“Bekkari hole”).
