Decree No. 85 of the Ministry of Public Health validating Sanitary rules and regulations setting sanitary and epidemiological requirements for sugar manufacturing enterprises.

This Decree sets forth requirements for sugar processing organizations, including inspection of equipment, technological processes, storage premises, production site and processing facilities. The scope of mandatory sanitary and hygienic requirements shall be protection of public health against negative impact. Utility and drinking water supply shall be performed from centralized water supply system complying with standard sanitary and hygienic requirements. Use of water from water heating system shall be prohibited. Discharge of waste utility and drinking water to rain water sewerage system shall be prohibited.
