Decree No. 88 of the cabinet of Ministers amending Ministerial Decree No. 2045 on some arrangements for implementation of Subsoil Code.

Item 3 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The structure of the state geological fund includes geological information on the geological structure of the subsoil, the quality and quantity of mineral resources contained therein and other subsoil resources, the conditions of their extraction or use, phenomena and processes occurring in the subsoil, information about which is contained in the reports based on the results of geological exploration of subsoil, maps, other text and graphic documents and materials, including: (a) text and graphic documents and materials containing information, obtained directly in the process of geological exploration of subsoil, extraction of fossil resources, the use of geothermal resources of subsoil, the exploitation of underground facilities not associated with mining, that constitute fund of primary geological information; (b) reports on the results of geological exploration of subsoil, maps, other text and graphic documents and materials included in the conclusive reports on the geological exploration of subsoil, obtained as a result of processing of primary geological information constituting a fund of elaborated geological information. The scope of the state geological fund shall be collection, processing, accumulation and systematization of information specified in part one of this paragraph. The State Geological Fund is maintained in the form of a database in the electronic format using geoinformation technologies and on paper carriers. Keeping and updating of the state geological fund in electronic form with the use of geoinformation technologies shall be performed as information resource operation. The structure of the database of the State Geological Fund shall be approved by the Ministry of Environment”.
