Decree No. 9 of the National Statistical Committee validating the Regulation on organizing and holding a one-time sampling household surveys for the purpose of an integrated assessment of the situation of persons with disabilities.

The main purpose of the survey is to form an official statistical information about: (a) prevalence rate and incidence of life and health disabilities of socio-demographic groups of the population; (b) the standard of living of households with disabled people; and (c) accessibility of social infrastructure, participation of people with disabilities in social life. The survey shall be based on the following basic principles: (a) voluntary participation in the survey of selected households; and (b) confidentiality of primary statistical data obtained in the course of survey. Primary statistics shall be collected by direct access to addresses of households selected for survey, and questioning household members with filling out the electronic version forms of examination.
