Decree No. 94 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection regarding some issues of management of protected areas.

This Decree establishes the rules for drafting management plans of protected areas, terms and conditions for elaboration thereof. Management plans shall be elaborated for: (a) reserves; (b) national parks; (c) wildlife sanctuaries; and (d) nature monuments of international importance. Elaboration of management plans shall be competence of the authorized state institutions managing protected areas. Management plans shall contain the following data: (a) general information; (b) physical and geographic conditions; (c) information on biodiversity; (d) information on natural complexes and objects; (e) assessment of compliance with the established regime of protected area; (f) objectives and purposes of management; and (g) arrangements and measures for protection and management of protected areas.
