Abstract
This Decree establishes requirements for radiation monitoring, location of observation points, list of parameters and periodicity of observation, radioactive pollution of the atmospheric air, undisturbed soil, surface water and groundwater in the areas of potential impact of the sources of radioactive pollution subject to contamination as a result of Chernobyl disaster. Radiation monitoring shall be carried out by the licensed organizations subordinated to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection. Each observation point shall be issued passport (Annex 1). Testing of samples shall be carried out by accredited laboratories. Data collection, processing, analysis and storage shall be carried out by the National environmental monitoring system.
