Decree No.2573-XII of 1993 of the Supreme Soviet regarding putting into effect the law on the protection of the consumers’ rights.

The Supreme Soviet decrees to put into effect the law on the protection of the consumers’ rights from the 1st of January 1994. Hereafter until the national legislation is brought in line with the aforesaid law the existing legislative acts shall apply to the extent that they do not contradict the aforesaid law. The Commissions of the Supreme Soviet are entitled to carry out control over the fulfilment of the present Decree.
