Governmental Decree No. 52 of 25 January 2019 validating the Regulation on the mechanism of cooperation in the field of quality and safety of food products.

This Governmental Decree determines the procedure for interaction between state bodies subordinated to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of the national state bodies and other state organizations, as well as local government and administrative bodies in order to ensure the quality and safety of food raw materials and foodstuffs, including mutual information on the identification of possible risks of unfavorable impact of food raw materials and foodstuffs on human life and health, as well as the consequences of this impact. Possibility of risk formation and occurrence of adverse consequences of the impact of food products on human life and health is determined by state bodies and organizations upon detection of food raw materials and foodstuffs non-complying with the establishes safety requirements for food products based on the nature and extent of such non-compliance and taking into account the amount of poor quality alimentary raw materials and foodstuffs in circulation.
