Law No. 444-Z amending some laws regulating wild fauna and flora.

Article 9 of the Law No. 1982-XII of 1992 on protection of the environment shall be amended to add the following paragraph: “establishes the modalities of transfer of wild fauna habitats and areas under wild growing plants pertaining to species recorded in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus under protection of land managers and/or managers of waterbodies, forms of certificates of habitats of wild fauna species and areas under wild growing plants, preservation order and the modalities, terms and conditions of the issuance thereof.” Article 45 of the Forest Code (Law No. 420-Z) shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 45. Compensation of damages caused to protected areas. Damages caused to protected areas shall be subject to compensation voluntarily or by court decision by the person that had caused such damage in accordance with the environmental legislation of the Republic of Belarus.”
