Abstract
The Parties shall cooperate in the field of supply of electric energy with mutually beneficial use of the features of the structure of energy sources of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Latvia. The Parties express their interest in joint actions related to the construction of electric power facilities, including power plants using renewable energy sources. The Parties shall ensure the timely exchange of regulatory legal acts related to cooperation performed within the framework of this Memorandum.

This Memorandum entered into force on 18 February 2009.
Notes
This Memorandum is valid for five years and shall be automatically extended for subsequent five-year periods, unless one of the Parties sends the other Party written notice of its intention to terminate it no later than six months before the date of its expiry.
