Memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Mines Industry and Energy of the Republic of Serbia in the geological sphere.

The Parties will, in accordance with their national legislation, cooperate in the geological sphere in the following main areas: (a) development of scientific and technical relations in the field of geological exploration of mineral resources; (b) examination and processing of primary geological information for the purpose of substantiation of mining; (c) regional geological exploration of the mineral resources of the Republic of Serbia with a view of assessment of the availability of various minerals and obtaining geological information required for their rational development; (d) identification of potentially dangerous zones of modern geodynamic activity territory of the Republic of Serbia to ensure safety and prevent accidents on the main pipelines and particularly important and environmentally hazardous facilities; (e) development of a space monitoring system in the territory of the Republic of Serbia for potentially dangerous geological processes on the basis of promptly obtained information from outer space; and (f) development of a space monitoring system on the territory of the Republic of Serbia of protected natural areas.
