Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the sphere of environmental protection, sustainable management natural resources and climate change between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Egypt.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following fields: (a) application of economic methods to nature management; (b) environmental impact assessment; (c) environmental monitoring; (d) air quality control; (e) management of freshwater quality; (f) waste management; (g) mitigation of the consequences of climate change; (h) protection and development of protected areas; (i) scientific research with a view of sustainable use of natural resources; (j) ecological education; and (k) ecological tourism. Cooperation shall be performed in the following forms: (a) exchange of information; (b) symposia and conferences; and (c) exhibitions.
