Abstract
Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange and joint use of information, results of scientific research and other materials; (b) joint planning, organization and holding of seminars, training courses, exchange and cooperation in the sphere of reduction of disasters and mitigation of their consequences; (c) improvement of national legislation applicable to natural disasters; (d) exchange of experience and cooperation between non-governmental entities (youth, volunteer and sport organizations) pertaining to the area of cooperation of this Memorandum; and (e) joint planning and implementation of projects in the sphere of mitigation of the consequences of disasters.

Entry into force notes
This Memorandum entered into force on 23 March 2012.
Notes
This Memorandum is valid for three years and shall be automatically extended for subsequent three-year periods, unless one of the Parties sends the other Party written notice of its intention to terminate it no later than six months before the date of its expiry.
