Abstract
The Parties will, in accordance with their national legislation, cooperate in the geological sphere in the following main areas: (a) assessment of mineral resources; (b) geophysical studies, exploration, measurements, interpretation of geophysical data; (c) training of high-qualified geologists for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam through postgraduate and doctoral studies. Cooperation shall be performed in the following forms: (a) exchange of experience; (b) exchange of delegations; (c) joint activity in the field of subsoil exploration; and (d) training of staff.

Entry into force notes
This Memorandum of Understanding enters into force from the date of signature and shall be valid for five years.
Notes
This Memorandum of Understanding is automatically extended to subsequent five-year periods, if one of the Parties does not send the other Party written notice of its intention to terminate this Memorandum.
