Ministerial Decree No. 1195 regarding the state registration of GMO plant varieties, GMO animals and GMO non-pathogenic micro-organisms.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food shall be the authorized institution entitled to carry out the state registration of GMO plant varieties, GMO animals and GMO non-pathogenic micro-organisms. The applicant shall submit the following documentation: (a) resolution of the state expertise as regards safety of GMO; (b) recommendation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection; (c) results of the state testing; (d) copy of the constituent documents for legal entities and certificate of the state registration for individual entrepreneurs; (e) description of GMO plant varieties, GMO animals and GMO non-pathogenic micro-organisms with the proposed name thereof; (f) brief annotation; (g) photographs of GMO plant varieties, GMO animals and GMO non-pathogenic micro-organisms.
