Ministerial Decree No. 1245 validating the Regulation on state biological reserve “Pekalinskiy”.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that state biological reserve “Pekalinskiy” shall be set up for the purpose of conservation of precious forests, including rare and endangered plant and animal species recorded in the Red Book. The following activities on the territory of state biological reserve “Pekalinskiy” shall be prohibited: (a) change of natural landscape; (b) hunting; (c) industrial procurement of wild growing plants; (d) effluent waste water discharge and waste disposal; (e) flame scaling of timber extraction areas; and (d) main use felling. Damage caused to state biological reserve “Pekalinskiy” by natural and legal persons shall be compensated to the amount and in accordance with the modalities established by the national legislation.
