Abstract
This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Ministry of Emergency Situations shall be the authorized state institution for the issuance, suspension, renewal, prolongation and invalidation of licences for industrial safety activity carried out by legal persons and individual entrepreneurs. Licence shall be issued for the period of 5 years subject to prolongation for one more five-year period. The following activities shall require licence: (a) manufacturing and storage of radioactive materials; (b) recycling, processing, storage and disposal (burial) of radioactive waste; and (c) transport of hazardous substances and hazardous waste.

This Ministerial Decree enters into force on 1 November 2003.
