Ministerial Decree No. 1434 validating the Regulation on the Podvelikiy mokh state hydrological reserve.

This Ministerial Decree creates and regulates the Podvelikiy mokh state hydrological reserve, requiring conservation of the unique wetland and its rare and endangered flora and fauna as recorded in the Red Book. The following activities on the Podvelikiy mokh reserve shall be prohibited: (a) making any changes to the landscape; (b) disturbing the soil; (c) extracting peat; (d) disposing of waste or of effluent wastewater; (e) burning dry vegetation; (f) grazing; (g) abstracting water for industrial uses or irrigation; (g) lighting fires; (h) any type of felling, except for sanitary felling; and (j) introducing alien tree or shrubbery species.
