Abstract
This Ministerial Decree establishes that Forest Ministry shall be responsible for licensing of hunting and hunting management, the issuance of hunting licences to legal persons. The aforesaid hunting licences shall be valid on the whole national territory for the period of 10 years and shall be subject to extension for another 10-year period at the request of licence holder. Licensing terms and conditions for hunting shall include: (a) hunting management in compliance with hunting legislation and lease contract of hunting grounds; (b) compliance with authorized rates of game subject to hunting and minimum population rates of wild animals; and (c) employment of gamekeepers within three months from the date of issuance of licence at the rate of one gamekeeper per 10 thousand hectares of forests and wetlands or 30 thousand hectares of hunting farmland. Forest Ministry shall also be responsible to licensing of timber extraction and timber processing. The aforesaid forestry licence shall be valid on the whole national territory for the period of five years and shall be subject to extension for another five-year period at the request of licence holder. Licensing terms and conditions shall include availability of equipment and qualified staff.
