Ministerial Decree No. 1657 validating the Regulation on proclamation, reorganization and closure of protected areas.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that communication on proclamation or reorganization of protected areas shall contain the following documentation: (a) draft decision by the authorized institution on proclamation or reorganization of protected area; and (b) scientific, technical and economic substantiation of proclamation or reorganization of protected areas, including map with designed boundaries. Communication on closure of protected areas shall contain the following documentation: (a) draft decision by the authorized institution on closure of protected area; (b) scientific, technical and economic substantiation of closure of protected areas, including map with designed boundaries of protected area subject to inactivation; and (c) for natural monuments - act by state managing authority attesting of loss of natural objects for the purpose of which specific protected area had been created.
